No human being is perfect, not you, not that boy, or even your precious daughter. We all make mistakes and act in ways at times that can be damaging to our relationships. But how we respond to the mistake we made is where our redemption lies. And a promise to do better in the future that is of substance. You did all that. You handled it well. Give yourself some grace.
