π Basically there are two big problems with sending humans to #Mars: microgravity and radiation (assuming the sheer mechanics of propulsion and supply, especially air, can be figured out). Microgravity should be manageable with a rotating ring Γ la 2001, but radiation is a big one. If we are serious about becoming interplanetary, more research around the Earth and maybe Moon is required.
