I don't think that FOC has to be permacomputing or even low-energy, it can be out of reach to me and that's totally fine. I'm stuck in the past due to our situation I don't wish this onto anyone, and it shouldn't be the threshold to meet.

Slack is the Past Of Coding, being closed and proprietary is directly at odds with the FOC/Malleable mission. I think it should adopt someone that is the future, could it make use of of some prototype from Ink&Switch for example?
