The pancake lenses make everything crisp and halo-free edge to edge, so watching in a virtual environment or theater is finally a pretty neat experience. But I still only get 10 minutes into a movie before asking myself why I'm watching it with a cumbersome thing on my face and turn it off.

That said, the social movie app Bigscreen can actually be a fun way to watch movies with friends, or audience-participation movies like Rocky Horror.
