I'm not convinced the #Bluesky starter packs are some killer feature that fediverse users should be jealous of. While I appreciate being added to one, the followers I've gained from it have been empty calories up to this point.

There may not actually be a way to fast-forward genuine community building online. The personal, individualized nature of discovering connections on Mastodon has been more effective than anything else I've tried. My most engaged Bluesky followers are people I met here!
