Had a dream/nightmare about coming home one day and finding my carpenter ant colony no longer in their log... but in the front hall: a wooden statue carved from their former home of a brave ant with her foot on the back of a prostrate human. And a little note, carved from wood: "thank you, mother we will not forget you in the coming strife"

and I never see them again...
