And herein lies one key problem with solving the UK's housing crisis... there's pretty wide agreement that more new houses/dwellings need to be built, but when development are proposed locals always have a 'good' reason why they should not be built there.

So, we now find the shadow housing minister objecting (for aesthetic reasons) to new developments in his constituency.

A better balance is needed in the planning system to more emphasise social needs!
