When asking people where morality stems from, i get answers like: It is God given, it oozes out of nature, it's just there, etc... Such answers are not satisfactory to me. So let's take a step back and see what we actually have. An amoral universe and the minds of animate beings. These beings have (selfpreserving) likes and dislikes.
