what has happened is that before, #elonmusk 's drug use was seen as quirky rich guy behavior, practically endearing for some
but now that his plutocrat edgelord antics are causing real damage to someone's financial position, they reassess the drug use as an aspect of his remarkable decline
the next step would be to reassess the narrative of decline, and point to toxic behavior of elon going all the way back to the 1990s, and see he has always been this sort of manchild
for me personally, who has never been invested in elon but did have some sort of admiration for him in the '00s because of tesla, my opinion of elon changed when he called the cave diver a "pedo", simply because the cave diver hurt elon's feelings when they denigrated his weird ineffective cave sub science project. this sort of temper tantrum, and the choice of the baseless smearmongering insult "pedo", is indicative of a whole host of personal problems
