The new glass design choices have more of that late-nineties lucidity, but lack the boldness, maybe that's coming during the next exuberant era?
You could probably just mount an iPad Pro in that case without needing to be too skilled, then use it either as a mirror display or solo. I stuffed an e-reader in a hollowed-out book for similar reasons.
