Someone asked me why I make my photos in B&W rather than color.
I do make some color photos, but most of my fine art work is indeed B&W. I'm more interested in form, geometry, and composition than in the interplay of color, which can be very distracting if not very intentionally depicted. In other words, color introduces another dimension, and I haven't tried to master using it well.
I'm basically stuck in a mid-century art aesthetic.
