Honestly. If it was just a villain of the week type deal where Ichigo juggles shinigami stuff and being a highschooler. Alas shounen genre requires insane power creep that is so badly paced that the main character becomes a literal god and then discovers, through training and the power of friendship, that he can reach god 2. And then god 3. And then mega god. Mega god 2. Etc etc etc
