I know its not a hugely relevant question for this perticular platform and possibly a question born out of my own ignorancce; however over the past few years I have been putting quite a few pictures on instagram, and sometimes acuire followers as a result. When i look to see who they are, and they don't look mad I will follow them. However often they have their profiles set to private, so I tend to think "ok they don't want to be followed". Is this actually right? #greatquestionsofourtime
