Think about it, the main obstacle with AR/VR goggles is the stigma of dorkiness and discomfort and low social imitation value. Do AR in cars and all those problems go away. Even cameras in and around cars are not stigma, people don't mind those. Essentially the market is totally ready to receive AR cars, but Meta and Apple just insist on ski goggles.
