Is there a preferred way to share end user “focus group” style feedback with Friendica devs? I love Friendica more than other Fediverse tech, I love to support its growth and development, I come from an enterprise level commercial software production team background, but alas I am not myself a php coder. My intent would not be “here’s a list of features I personally want”, my intent would be to provide end user experience feedback such as:
- a compare contrast of non-admin new user experience of Friendica vs other Federated social offerings
- highlight aspects of Friendica that cause me to prefer it over other federated (e.g. Mastodon) or walled garden (e.g. Facebook) social media offerings
- highlight areas of consistent end user confusion among myself and the small group of new users I’ve onboarded this month (about 30 users)
- make myself available to reply to clarifying questions anybody had about the feedback
If there’s any interest happy to share it in the preferred way. If there’s currently no formal way for that sort of thing, I’ll likely just write up one big solitary post from my current Friendica instance and just add some relevant hashtags for someone to stumble across. I hope everybody is having a good day!
