Looking for advice again. I need to set up a WhatsApp account (don't ask) but refuse to let Facebook anywhere near me. I will use a factory reset phone with nothing else on it, and put it on a separate network from all my other tech. The question is: For logging in, I need a phone number, right? Does that mean I should get a burner SIM or is it only needed once and I can do some other dance. If so, what dance?
