Went to A City. Needed to park the car. Found a metered street spot. But it didn’t take money or credit cards. No. One needed an app. That you had to download. With crappy service. Then had to create an account. Then add payment details. Then get a code to verify myself. Then input another code for the location, license plate number. Email address. Took about 8 minutes. Now I have four different apps for different Cities. None of which I’m interested in ever visiting again.
