My desktop in 15.2 Sequoia has disappeared. I get Finder windows, but nothing on the Desktop itself; the Desktop folder has items in it.

I have:
• Confirmed System Settings > Desktop & Dock is set to show Desktop files
• Parallels Toolbox not running (and now uninstalled completely)
• iCloud Documents & Desktop: toggled on and off (this clears state for some people)
• Used CLI to fix hidden flags on ~/Desktop/ folder

Anyone seeing this & has solved?
