When your Bitaxe hardware overheating take this step:
: Cool down - immediately unplug the miner and let it cool for at least 30 minutes
: Inspect the fan, heatsink , and thermal
Paste for issues , make sure things properly seated
: Reset setting - access WebUI ( using the IP address from the router ) and reset frequency and core voltage to default values, reset the device
: Test or monitor temperature and hashrate via AxeOS. Ideal temperature 40-65 degrees Celsius, over 70 is no good more damage
: Repair or replace , if the damage bad better change the ASIC chip
