It also has to be easier to use, cheaper, and better than any of the current alternatives (X). I think we continually underestimate what it takes for people not interested in this space to make these sorts of transitions. People don't automatically gravitate towards what's best for them; They gravitate towards whatever's the most convenient and chemically satisfying.
I hope Damus finds a way though.
