I just started live streaming shows so I'm a bit new to it.
I host my own icecast server https://lit.lightningthrashes.com
Lately I've been using mixxx to host the live show. It's a bit overwhelming at first.

And just played the songs using mpv https://mpv.io

I use gpodder to download the mp3s from the RSS feeds to my local machine

I would never use wavlake for anything, ever.

I haven't looked into zap stream yet, but it's on my todo list.

I pretty much do everything the hard way. I'm nearly 100% sovereign with my show.
