Evil has an irresistible draw. Books in the Old and the New Testament, if you are a believer, illustrate this perfectly where Lucifer believes himself to be the equal of the Creator. This is how powerful the draw of Evil is, in real life.
Its too easy to dismiss the existence of entities we call God and Evil. People believe themselves a scientist, creating serious works about parallel universes and higher dimensions do not say this out loud, but they must suspect.
Evil can and will influence individuals and Humanity, and to Evil any of that is trivial.
