My 2 sats is that this already exists and has for quite some time, but it's not a useful action to take in the RSS namespace. What you're describing can be achieved by serving a feed that requires authentication server-side. Great example is Redbar's members-only feed:

Works already in many podcast apps where if you add that feed it asks for credentials in-app before displaying the content.
