Firefox based browsers installed through apt take ages to open.
Once open if I open a link in a new tab from within the browser everything is normal.
If I try to open a link from another program, like thunderbird for example, it takes a whole fucking 10 seconds at least to finally get the new tab to open.
Chromium based browsers open instantly.
Interestingly enough, firefox based browsers installed through flatpak also open fairly quickly.
I made a post on the mint forum if you wanna take a look.
Yes I using "noob friendly just works" distros. Yes, I could use less noob friendly distros but I am lazy.
"Just use chromium based"
I like firefox based.
"Just use flatpak version"
I vastly prefer using non flatpak.
