This whole exploding pagers thing is truly bizarre. It's hard for me to see how the massive cost of pulling off an attack like this is justified by the outcome. I mean, they killed nine people but pissed off millions.

The only reason to do this is to provoke (at enormous expense) Lebanon into a direct conflict with Israel.

I hope there is a proper investigation into the exact cause of the exploding pagers but I'm not holding my breath.
