It would be cool to take a 50kw diesel generator and sell it as an outdoor oil heater.
It goes in a little shed and runs on furnace oil and the coolant is circulated to your heated floors or whatever in your house while it makes power to sell to the grid.
Normally you lose a lot of energy to exhaust, but a good heat exchanger should be able to push the efficiency way up - especially if your in-floor heating is ok to run with relatively low temperature fluid.
