Pretty sure they were the same folks who ran the Albert Park rally - but I don't think anyone expected the 🍅
As always follow the instructions of the marshals, if there is a group going that the organisers weren't necessarily expecting then get a representative to talk to the organisers (and ideally make contact first). These things are always organised with non violent intent, so don't come tooled up as the last thing we need is the cops searching folks and finding weapons - even soup. Violence is quite possible, don't start or provoke anything, do the best you can to de-escalate, if it all turns to shit do what you have to do to stay safe, dont be alone, don't leave folks alone, don't leave anyone behind, and don't get caught on camera. Standard stuff, y'all know the drill. Best case 2 sides face off and throw a few words round, worst case some religious nutter comes with an assault rifle...
