Second collection of the season, this time got 100gal from 45 taps and took 1hr 15min to collect. It didn't work out to use the horses, but next week will offer another opportunity. Looking for 2gal of syrup from this collection, I'll test sugar content of the sap tomorrow when I start filtering out the water from it.
