My confidence with acrylics is slowly increasing - there have been a lot of horrendous paintings so far, but I feel I'm learning which techniques and tools best suit what I'm trying to achieve and I've started to better match colours, like this autumnal-themed series of sketches featuring a titanium buff base with raw umber, raw sienna and pale iridescent gold. I'm going to try a canvas painting with this colour palette next - wish me luck!
