on a train to London I was sat across from a man wearing a Panerei and I complemented him on it. We got talking about watches and I mentioned I didn't wear my engagement watch (Stowa Ikarus) because I was afraid to damage it. He asked why I even have it, he then showed me the dings and bumps on his and said this is mine now and it's unique. Stuck with me ever since and I now really appreciate every watch I have.
