There was an enormous line, probably hours long, outside the Apple store today. I guess the new iPhone is available today.

Lately it seems to me (and to many others, according to the sagging sales figures) that the annual cycle isn't doing much to excite people for any brand of phone†. And to me this round seems especially meh.

But perhaps I am an outlier.

† Also, being a telephone is nearly irrelevant now, socially offensive even, but that's how language evolves.
