Imagine playing a Metroidvania where you explore for 1 hour, platforming, finding shit, having fun, and then you have to stop at the rest area of gang rape but somehow that's fun to you. What the fuck happened to gamers, man. This shit was fine on the NES where you spent a full day's wage on a game that can be beaten in 1 hour so the devs made it a lot harder to get through, sure, but you're crazy if you want standard difficulty to be a nightmare these days. If you love a game enough to make it harder, just play Hard mode. Basically every game has them (and multiple). Nine Sols has no hard mode. That's just the standard difficulty. Very gay and I'm still mad a day later.
