This is much the same as a lot of people saying “capitalism” in arguments when what they mean is cronyism or corporatism. Neoliberal corporatists just so completely captured the media that anyone who proposes a different view, EVEN IF THAT VIEW IS HELD BY THE MAJORITY OF EXPERTS IN THE FIELD, is deemed as fringe nonsense
