And so, I bid Tokyo, and Japan farewell. This has been a really fun trip, one I was not expecting to be personally significant at all. And yet I feel like it probably was one of the most important(?) holidays I’ve had - maybe it’s the conflation of factors that led me here. Wish I could tell you more, but I’m still trying to process what’s happening. There’s alot going on, from the quiet neighborhood vibes of the Tokyo suburbs that hits a bit too close to home, to the incredibly intense surge of central Tokyo, or the stunning scenery only a few hours away.

To the fedi friends who helped organize this trip and host and guide us, or just was there to provide company, you have my gratitude. To the others, hope you’ll get to visit, maybe we can plan a trip together! I’ll be back :)
