Warning: massive massive rant.
You know what is really fucking grinding my gears at the moment? #AI tools such as Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT and the puritanical attitude to censorship that they have.
I decided to write a little scene with a couple of characters that I have created and a couple of times, one of them said fuck.
I thought let's test out the new Apple Intelligence to see if I can fix things such as punctuation which is not one of my strong points.
After getting a message along the lines of "Apple Intelligence is not designed to work with this kind of content." It rewrote my text and removed the swear words.
It's bad enough as a blind person that a lot of the description services that utilise AI will not describe graphic images because they are "not suitable." Never ever sensor language.
The whole fucking point of these models is that they are not. Human.
If I want to test a model and have it proofread a document, do not treat me as though I am a five-year-old.
