We lost our Internet connection for only an hour or so this week - but we felt so lost & cut off.
We grew up without even phones in our homes, so the change to dependency on IT is quite worrying.
It made me think about how the world would/wouldn't function if a solar storm knocked the Internet out for any length of time. (I know nothing about solar storms, btw)
