I'd gently counter that "if you can't handle it, you shouldn't be here" is not a very inclusive take. The alternative for those of us genuinely overwhelmed by what has become commonplace in the US is some degree of isolation -- on an individual level, muting and blocking to curate our feeds. Requests for CWs are expressions that we want to stay connected if the terms are amenable to you, and it's certainly your choice to decide they're not, but I hope you can see the pro-social side of that too.
