Unfortunately, the problem with this is cat volume varies by container. For example, they take up less volume to fill smaller containers (until they reach the breaking point and overflow) and tend to be more in larger containers. Thus they can fit into a box that is technically too small for them that you would be absolutely certain would be positively painful to sleep in, yet still fit comfortably into a larger box too.
