Sit down and seperate the parts that you have control over and those you don't. Write it down.
Only focus on those things you can control, if you dont and get caught up in what you can't control, you'll drive yourself mad with shoulds and coulds.
Once you really work out what control you have in the situation, make small meaningful changes in those areas.
Remember, in extreme cases, sometimes the only control we have in our life is how we choose to react to an event. That's it.
