A non-Apple/Google push notification system is a must-have for open source alternatives.

One difficulty with nostr app development is push notifications. Normal apps just use iOS and Google plumbing, but that feels a little wrong.

Another option I just found out about is UnifiedPush. Have any of you ever investigated? Is this something nostr apps should embrace?
