Despite the testing I’m currently doing on Android 6 & 7 Conversations 2.14.0 will bump the minimum Android version from 5 to 6. (API 21 to API 23)
However a 2.13.1, which brings improved P2P file transfer, will be released later today (pending PlayStore review).
