As someone that has worked retail for 20ish years, I'm going to tell you something the big chain stores won't say.

If it seems like it takes forever to get help from a Sales Associate, that is corporate code for "We want you to order online, or do curbside pickup. We don't want to help you in the store. Helping you in the store costs money because we have to hire more people, and we don't do that anymore."

That is why you can't find the help you need when you go shopping.
