An update on the fountain pen nib transplant I did recently: Initially the Kanwrite F nib I put in the Promise of Spring pen wrote like the F I expected, but overnight the ink saturated the feed and now it writes like a too-wet F. So went online to my favorite pen parts purveyor, Jumpbid, and bought a size 5 Kanwrite EF and two extra matching plastic feeds. Then when they arrive I'll do another transplant. Tinkering is fun, but I just want it to write the way I want it to write.
