Brian Nicar on Nostr: I was asking a very good friend if his son would shelter us if we had to evacuate, ...
I was asking a very good friend if his son would shelter us if we had to evacuate, which is looking like a real possibility. Not his family, but mine, Mom and myself. He said that he would ask. Then it occurred to me, why the hell would he say no? The son in question lives north of us in Hernando County. This is how I'm different than most folks. In life threatening situations, it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission. Of course, we could go to some generic shelter and not be around friends. But does anyone think I wouldn't pack brothers in like sardines if I needed to?
