The AT&T #outage is region by region being corrected so now it is our job as #infosec nerds to wildly speculate on the cause. While I think it is most likely a corrupt config/routing table update, an expired domain, or the usual DNS thing, my personal wild guess is the Chinese government testing their backdoors. Anyone else have a “good” guess? Bonus points for an extraterrestrial scenario.
