Its curious, I have a lot of critical perspectives on the computational theory of mind, and in general of "intelligence" as a model that stands in for "sentience" but that isn't because I think true agi is impossible (or that it needs to correspond with hominid style of apprehension), but rather that the entire model for how to appre/chomprehension, intelligence, sentience and consciousness that has motivated the building of ai attempts is a flawed dead-end, a logistical cul-de-sac, and that the conflation of computation with intelligence has colonized the analysis and thought process of ppl who do have enthusiasm for ai to the point that they are legitimately unable to imagine intelligence taking any other form
