Sooo, that wasn't the end of the courier drama. I got a message at 5 pm saying they'd just delivered the package.

I was standing in the dining room at that time in full view of the driveway and the letter box, and the package wasn't delivered.

So I had to call NZ Post, it took 15 minutes to talk to them, and they declared that they had GPS evidence that the van was outside my home.
