When I was homeless, especially this time of year, folks would donate things. Often they donated what they thought we needed and didn’t. Sometimes it was a hassle, actually, having so much of one thing.

I’ve never heard of a place that minds you calling prior to donating and asking them what they’re short on. In fact, they may love you for it. If you’re in the giving mood, give something that will be used. #homeless #donation #shelter #give
