I support the right of the trans community to have the same rights anyone else has.

Then again, I think we have lost rights under democracy:

* Freedom of speech. We no longer can say what we want with impunity, and we are forced to say or accept things we believe to be lies.
* Freedom of association. Dead by civil rights, would allow actual pluralism.
* Freedom of religion. Most religions want us to live medievally, and that is no longer legal.
