Compared to magpies, crows, seagulls, foxes, cats, dogs, passing traffic, noisy neighbours, even fairly quiet neighbours you really won’t hear a heat pump. We have had one for eight years and it’s so minimal - a slight whooshing sound when the fan is on, if you try to listen really hard in a silent time. And they are good for your electric/gas/oil bill too.
